WHAT IS A RAMBLIN WOOD
OUR BUSINESS
We met online by chance, and soon after, we fell in love. Taking a leap of faith, I left my home in Upstate New York and relocated to Virginia. That leap turned into a life together—both in love and in craft—and we became Mr. and Mrs. Ramblin Wood.
Ramblin Wood began as the name for our property, but it grew to mean much more. It reflects our shared love of music—especially Ramble On by Led Zeppelin—the spirit of adventure found in Tolkien’s stories, our love of travel across the US, and the beauty of our mostly wooded, rural Virginia surroundings. To us, Ramblin Wood is a place where creativity and nature meet.
We’re both makers at heart, drawn to the freedom and joy of creating with our hands. We take pride in craftsmanship and hold ourselves to a high standard—sometimes to a fault. Every item we make, whether a decorative accent or a functional piece of furniture, is built with care and attention to detail. Our goal is simple: to create beautiful, lasting pieces that feel right at home in your home.
